Our cottages have a wealth of traditional features like beamed ceilings and rustic fireplaces. The furnishings have been tastefully selected to maintain that real "home from home" atmosphere.
The main house and building including the cottages date from 1875, shortly after the opening by the North Eastern Railway of the branch to Pateley Bridge. North Oaks continued to be a working farm until the 1980s. It has not really changed much since and has been our home since 1990. The holiday cottages have been lovingly managed by Sue since 1991 and we look forward to welcoming new and regular guests to enjoy the peace and quiet, the walks and the wild life that we have come to love so much.
Just a short distance away are York and Harrogate with many famous attractions (see more on the what to do page)
North oaks is also home to LH Loveless & Co - maker of fine brass Railway models.
